SpellForce returns on mobile with SpellForce: Heroes & Magic

The SpellForce franchise has been around for quite some time and after a long break, it is making its return as a mobile exclusive SRPG. Namely SpellForce: Heroes & Magic, the mobile title will be available on both Android and iOS.

The franchise made a name for itself back in the day for being an RPG with RTS elements, back when the latter genre was still prevalent. Upon creating your character from a pool of classes which include the warrior, mage or archer, you will embark on a quest to defeat enemies and pick up loot as usual.

However along the way, you will be able to set up bases, turning the game into an RTS. Here you will be able to construct buildings, gather resources and recruit an army. You then send soldiers to the enemy base, joining the battle yourself.

No word as to when the game will come out, but at least there’s something for Android and iOS users will have something to look forward to. You can visit the official site for more information.
