The event comes as part of the 25th anniversary of the YuGiOh card game- and sees all three of the Egyptian God Cards available in Master Duel with their alternate card art.
There’s a 7 day login from now until 5th January, with various rewards including the first of the three God Cards- Obelisk The Tormentor.
The rewards are as follows:
- Day 1: Obelisk the Tormentor (Alternative Art) in Royal Finish
- Day 2: 500 Gems
- Day 3: “The Ones Who Serve Ra” Secret Pack Ticket
- Day 4: 300 Gems
- Day 5: Obelisk the Tormentor (Alternative Art) Icon
- Day 6: “The Ones Who Serve Ra” Secret Pack Ticket
- Day 7: 200 Gems
Meanwhile, fans of Yugi’s Slifer the Sky Dragon can purchase the card as part of a bundle for 2500 gems- the bundle features a Duel Field, Icon as well as multiple Master Packs, as well as the titular Sky Dragon with alternate art and a Royal Finish.
Meanwhile, as for the Winged Dragon of Ra, fans can pull it from the The Ones Who Serve Ra secret pack featuring alternative art.
A single pull is available for free from the store, with additional pulls given as part of the daily login rewards.
However, players can also pay for more pulls with in-game gems.
The Egyptian God Cards are the central focus of YuGiOh in the Duel City arc, being powerful monsters used by Kaiba, Yugi and Marik.
While not as common competitively the cards themselves are iconic to anime fans- with the three monsters also receiving statues by Kotobukiya in recent years.
