Ujoy Games has just officially launched Soul Tide its latest RPG for the Android and iOS platforms in Japan. This follows its original debut in China, and an international version is currently in the works as well. As part of the launch, we are treated to a new PV featuring the theme song sung by seiyuu Kato Emiri.
Soul Tide sees players assuming the role of a summoner who conjures the souls of “dolls” to join their cause. With your own assembled party, you will proceed to explore dungeons with them in what is being described as a labyrinth RPG. It is set in fantasy Japan where mysterious portals have started appearing across the land spawning dangerous entities. You are tasked with sending the unknown forces back from whence they came Combat is fairly elementary as it is turn-based. The challenge comes from putting up a party with the right mix of characters, all of whom will focus on particular specialties such as combat and support. The labyrinth where you will be exploring will contain puzzles along the way to serve as breaks between fights, so you cannot just make a beeline to the exit.
As the game has achieved its milestone of 500 000 pre-registrations, everyone will be rewarded with in-game currency and Uniform Skin Hoshimi Asuna just from logging in. Drop by the official website and Twitter account for more details.
