Soul Seeker: Six Knights is now available for download worldwide. Previously, the game soft-launched in the Philippines back in October 2018.
Soul Seeker: Six Knights is the sequel to Com2uS’s 2015 game, Soul Seeker. According to an announcement on Soul Seeker’s Facebook page, the original game will shut down this coming January following the release of the sequel. Compared to the original, the sequel received graphic upgrades. Additionally, the sequel features a new in-depth story and deeper gameplay.
One of the mechanics featured in the sequel is the Link System. The system binds two or three of the player’s heroes which in turn gives them buffs. On the other hand, fans of the original will be pleased as characters of the prequel return in this installment.
Players form teams of 6 heroes (3 main and 3 support) from over 150 available characters. Other than the variety, the high number of characters allow players to build a unique team based on their playstyle and strategy. Expect stages where certain lineups are better than others, forcing players to adapt to the game.
Similar to the prequel, Soul Seeker: Six Knights allows players to control their team in dungeons using the touch and drag system. Depending on the situation, the player may have to re-position or manually take control to clear a difficult stage.
Launch celebration event
Currently, the game is undergoing a launch celebration event. All new players will receive a free SSR hero, a four star summon ticket, premium weapon tickets and pork buns. Out of all the rewards, the free SSR is clearly the most enticing reward.
Regardless if you are a fan of the original or new to the Soul Seeker series, you should check out this game. It brings what people expect from a Soul Seeker game while also putting in improvements. Considering that the original had lasted 3 years, players can expect the same or better quality from Soul Seeker: Six Knights.
