Sony opens new flagship store at LaLaport BBCC

Earlier today, Sony Malaysia announced the opening of its newest flagship store in Kuala Lumpur at LaLaport Bukit Bintang City Centre (BBCC). Located on level two, the store offers a wide variety of Sony consumer products, from photography, videography and audio equipment to home entertainment.

We had the chance to visit the store during its opening. Upon entering, the first section which drew our attention is the Gaming section. PS5s, PS4s, various games and other peripherals were on display. Also, the store accepts orders for PS5s (following Sony Malaysia’s procedures, of course).

In the Digital Imaging section, we got to see cameras, lenses and other photography equipment and accessories. This section uses the lens bar concept where users are free to be up close with the whole array of Sony’s lenses while pairing them with the available cameras. There is also a live streaming corner where customers can have a clearer idea of this process.

The 360 Reality Audio room is a special room in the store which allows customers to experience the feeling of being in a live concert, thanks to Sony’s TVs and speakers equipped with 360 Reality Audio.

Furthermore, the Sony Store @ LaLaport BBCC also has a service centre for customers and even a Sony Digital Workshop space, which will host workshops, seminars and activity sessions.
