Sony Interactive Entertainment Unveils PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection

Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced the PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection, featuring limited edition PlayStation 5 consoles and accessories inspired by the original PlayStation. Sony will launch the collection on November 21, with pre-orders beginning September 26 through PlayStation Direct and participating retailers where PlayStation Direct is unavailable.

The collection offers two main bundles:

1. PlayStation 5 Pro Console – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle:
   • Includes a limited edition PS5 Pro console with 2TB SSD and Wi-Fi 7 (where supported)
   • Comes with matching limited edition accessories: DualSense wireless controller, DualSense Edge wireless controller, DualSense Charging Station, and a Console Cover for a Disc Drive
   • Additionally, includes a Vertical Stand and special collector’s items
2. PlayStation 5 Digital Edition – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle:
   • Features a limited edition PS5 Digital Edition console with 1TB SSD
   • Includes a matching limited edition DualSense wireless controller and a Console Cover for a Disc Drive
   • Also comes with a Vertical Stand and special collector’s items

Both bundles include unique collector’s items such as an original PlayStation controller-style cable connector housing, PlayStation Shapes cable ties, a sticker, a limited edition poster, and a PlayStation Paperclip. Moreover, Sony will limit the PlayStation 5 Pro Console bundle to 12,300 units, etching a unique number on each console to represent the month and date of the first PlayStation console launch.

Pre-order details vary by region:

• In areas where PlayStation Direct is available, PlayStation Network account holders can pre-order the full range of 30th Anniversary Collection products starting September 26.
• In addition, regions without PlayStation Direct, pre-orders begin on September 26 at participating retailers.
• The PS5 Digital Edition bundle and standalone DualSense Wireless Controller will also be available for pre-order from additional participating retailers, with dates varying by product.
