Sony Interactive Entertainment Launches Astro Bot with Pop-Up Event at Sunway Pyramid

Sony Interactive Entertainment is marking the release of Astro Bot, with an event and series of activities at the Blue Concourse of Sunway Pyramid from September 12 to September 16, 2024.

The celebration will begin with the debut appearance of a Giant Astro Bot at Sunway Velocity on September 6, 2024. Following this initial showcase, a dedicated Astro Bot pop-up zone will be open daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, offering visitors a range of interactive experiences.

The pop-up event will feature several attractions, including:

1. Hands-on Astro Bot gameplay sessions
2. A giant Astro Balloon display
3. Special PlayStation deals
4. Various Astro Bot-themed activities

Visitors can participate in a stamp collection activity via the Sunway Mall App to qualify for giveaways and access to an Astro Bot-themed claw machine. Prizes include limited-edition souvenirs such as stickers, enamel pin badges, keychains, and plush pillows.

Participants who complete these tasks also have a chance to win grand prizes, including a PlayStation 5 console, PULSE Elite wireless headset, and a DualSense Wireless Controller – Astro Bot Limited Edition.  For those unable to attend the event, a ‘Where’s Astro Bot’ social media challenge will run from September 6 to 12 on Facebook and Instagram, offering another opportunity to win the Limited Edition Astro Bot DualSense™ wireless controller and other merchandise.

The PS5 Standard Edition of Astro Bot will be available for RM249, while the Digital Deluxe Edition, which includes additional content, will be priced at RM299. The DualSense™ Wireless Controller – ASTRO BOT™ Limited Edition, inspired by Astro’s Dual Speeder spaceship, will also be available for purchase at select retailers while supplies last.

This launch event provides multiple opportunities for fans to engage with the Astro Bot franchise and potentially acquire exclusive PlayStation merchandise.
