To capitalise on the oh-so-very lucrative mobile games market, Sony formed ForwardWorks, a studio dedicated to making to what it calls ‘full-fledged’ mobile games. We now have the name of its first IP in the form of Aida of Sky and Sea, which is accompanied by a rather pretty trailer.
All we are able to get from Aida of Sky and Sea so far is that it takes place in the future, when there are no longer any fish in the sea. For some unknown reason, humanity then decided to set up huge fish tanks. In space. Enter you, the player, who has been placed in charge of six girls, as you are tasked with catching said fish. In space.
The trailer does not give away what kind of game this will be, so your guess will be as good as ours. From what little screenshots that have been posted on the official website, there seems to be a lot of tapping involved, which seems par for the course for a mobile game, and as such does not really say anything. Expect more information on the game to trickle in, although for the time being, you can pre-register (link below).
