Sonic Movie 2 Reveals New Poster, More Info at The Game Awards

The official Sonic Movie Twitter account has revealed a new poster for the upcoming Sonic The Hedgehog 2 Movie.

The poster shows Sonic, voiced by Ben Schwartz alongside Jim Carry returning as Doctor Eggman. The poster also shows us Tails, voiced by Colleen O’Shaughnessey piloting an airplane. This will be Tails’ big screen debut after making a cameo in the after-credits scene of the last films.

Alongside Sonic and Tails, it has also been confirmed that Knuckles will be appearing in the film voiced by Idris Elba.

The tweet also confirmed that the world premiere trailer for the Sonic The Hedgehog 2 movie will be revealed at The Game Awards which will be going live at 20:00 EST (9:00 MYT) on December 9/10th December.

The Sonic The Hedgehog Movie has been considered one of the better video game adaptations. The film had a rocky start will a much-reviled design for Sonic. Thankfully, the movie was delayed and the character was redesigned to be more faithful to the games.

Sonic The Hedgehog 2 will premiere in 2022.
