Sonic Force: Speed Battle is a game by Sega, obviously, however this time it’s another attempt for the mobile; a platform that they have tried many times to venture into but have not succeeded even by porting old games onto mobile. Sega has come to a little bit of sense this time with Sonic Forces: Speed Battle as a competitive multiplayer racing game.
Check out the gameplay below courtesy of the BlueParadox YouTube channel:
The game has recently been soft-launched in the Philippines App Store and Play Store. While Sega had a similar popular game called Sonic Dash, Sonic Force: Speed Battle is a more competitive game in comparison. Up to four players can race against each other and there are power ups and rings to collect along the way. There are some pretty amazing looking race tracks that look challenging.
Little did you know, the game was supposed to be one of their marketing strategy that coincides with their upcoming game for the Nintendo Switch, Sonic Force, a 3D perspective with a bit of classic Sonic gameplay battling Dr. Eggman on a side scrolling platform. You can check out that trailer below.
If you are a fan of the Sonic IP and you’d like to give this “Sonic Dash” a try, you can download it on the Philippines’ App Store or Play Store. The game is free and it can quench some of that competitive adrenaline off your thumbs.
