China-based game developer WonderPlanet, the people behind Sonic Beat feat. Crash Fever, has decided to make the game free until 26 March 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. The move is part of a limited time campaign to promote a so-called “Creating Smilely Time in Our Friends’ Daily Life” initiative as people all over the world are advised to stay home.
Marketed as a rhythm action game, Sonic Beat feat. Crash Fever is available in three languages, namely Japanese, English and Chinese. Before going free, this premium title came with a price tag of MYR 25.90.
The The game boasts many, many song, each of which has three difficulty levels. There are eight characters in the roster whom you can select from to be your avatar. Gameplay involves following the beats as it were, where exact time in button presses translate to combos and high scores. Since its release in 2019, the game has added a lot of content since, and has had several collaborations with many IPs.
