The announcement of a release date for the Solo Leveling anime was made during Aniplex Online Festa 2023, being scheduled for January 2024.
The announcement was accompanied by a brand-new trailer and key visual.
Fans have been excited at the idea of an anime adaptation of Solo Leveling ever since the teaser dropped earlier this year.
Although we still do not have an exact release date, fans can expect to receive more information regarding the highly anticipated anime adaptation of the popular South-Korean Manhwa in the coming months leading up to the anime’s release in Winter 2024.
Produced by Crunchyroll and A1-Pictures, the anime will adapt the story of Jin-Woo, an infamously weak hunter who finds himself being chosen by a “System” that granted him the rare ability to level up and become one of the strongest hunters. Jin-woo then sets out on a journey to challenge against all kinds of enemies, further strengthening his powers.
The critically acclaimed Manhwa concluded back in 2021 with a total of 14 volumes, so there will be plenty of source material to adapt.
Solo Leveling will be available for streaming exclusively on Crunchyroll in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS.
