Snowbreak: Containment Zone will have its rating increased from PG12 to M in China following its version 1.7 update.
The trailer for the 1.7 update of Snowbreak: Containment Zone revealed a new interactive touch function where Adjutants will be able to interact with their operatives in a variety of situations. Besides the traditional headpats, certain outfits will unlock special interactive scenes, including a few suggestive ones where players can watch and interact with the operative while they lie in bed.
With the upcoming update, developer Seasun Games has made an announcement on the official Weibo account for Snowbreak: Containment Zone that the the game will increase its age rating from PG12 to M starting from the game’s maintenance on 18 April 2024.
At the same time, Chinese players will be required to verify that they are at least 18 years old using real-name authentication before playing the game.
At the moment, it is unknown how the game’s rating increase will affect players outside of China.
Despite the rating increase, the outfits will remain firmly on the operatives and no additional information about further functions for the interactive scenes have been announced.
Snowbreak: Containment Zone can be played for free on PC via Steam or Epic Games Store.
