Create your own world with the new Small Living World. The ecosystem simulator is available now for Android devices.
This cute pixel-art game allows players to create their own ecosystems, as water, soil and even animals will interact with each other based on the conditions of the world. You’ll need to make full use of the game’s terraforming tools to craft your little slice of paradise, lest your animals end up being miserable.
There are over 20 species of plants and animals each, and you’ll have to keep track of how all these creatures interact with each other to keep your ecosystem stable. The animals in particular have a vast array of needs, so it’ll be up to you to know how to take care of them.
Of course, it’s a lot more than just a static ecosystem, either. Whatever plants you grow will eventually reproduce, and you’ll find yourself with a large forest over time. It also features a realistic water cycle, so how much of your world consists of lakes is going to have an effect on the frequency of rain.
The game will let you have up to six of these little worlds, so you can rotate which of your worlds you fuss over.
While the game is free-to-play you can buy a paid version. Alternatively, there are also in-app purchases for animals and plants.
