During the Ubisoft Forward Livestream event that happened on the 10th September, Ubisoft had showcased two brand new trailers for Skull and Bones where players can discover the bloody race between corporations and pirates to control the Indian Ocean to and get a glimpse of the weaponry players will have access to secure their treasure.
Skull and Bones will be launching on 8th November 2022 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X & S, and PC via Epic Games Store and the Ubisoft Store.
From one of the two trailers – the World Context, Skull and Bones had revealed the truth behind the second Golden Age of Piracy: The Indian Ocean which had been torn between power, riches, and blood, while all being at the mercy of powerful corporations.
These dangerous fleets had traded and exported all sorts of valuable and exotic goods to the West, the pirates had showed no mercy as they participate in the violet race to control over rare resources. The world of Skull and Bones will provide players the opportunity to become one of these legendary Kingpins by sailing through the dangerous seas, creating secret deals as they build up their pirate empire from the ground up.
While in The Ship as a Fortress trailer, Skull and Bones will let players customise their ship as it plays a key part to outsmarting rivals. A great pirate should not only look the part to be feared but also tactically weaponising their ship to sink their enemies. Players will need to master their ship to prevail in dangerous storms in order to survive as the seas of Skull and Bones aren’t forgiving to anyone.
