Square Enix has announced a SINoALICE That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime collab for their popular gacha game.
Details on the collaboration are sparse, other than that it will be happening. SINoALICE is no stranger to crossovers, however, as they’ve previously had collaborations with fellow Yoko Taro stories Nier and Nier: Automata.
However, the SINoALICE That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime collab would mark the first time the game has crossed over with this IP in particular. The game has also previously crossed over with Higurashi When They Cry.
The game’s Twitter confirms that it will be releasing simultaneously on both the longer-running Japanese servers for the game as well as the newer English ones.
Assuming this collaboration is the next big one and that it’s coming to EN servers at the same time as JP, that would put it before other Japanese events like the Code Geass crossover, so fans waiting for that one would have to wait even longer.
That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime has a pretty self explanatory title, about a main character who gets reincarnated into a fantasy world as a Slime, and the adventures that follow. The series’ second mobile game recently got an English release, and its second season is out now.
