Singapore-Made Disney Melee Mania Launches Tomorrow

Singapore-based Mighty Bear Studios’ Disney Melee Mania launches tomorrow on Apple Arcade, letting you try a Disney-themed MOBA featuring characters like Bing Bong and Buzz Lightyear.

The game features 3v3 gameplay, where you’ll be using a variety of iconic Disney and Pixar characters to bring victory for your team.

These also include authentic sound effects, such as Buzz Lightyear’s incredibly 90s sounding laser beam that fires whenever he activates it in the movie.

Since Disney Melee Mania is launching on Apple Arcade, it won’t have pay-to-win features or ads- instead you’ll be able to unlock more characters simply by playing the game and unlocking more fragments for the characters you want.

“Players will be able to collect champion fragments. We’ll give players a pool of these fragments at the start”, says Abel Tan from Mighty Bear games.. ” Just by playing games and winning matches and completing missions you’ll be able to collect and piece together champion fragments and unlock the champions. After unlocking these characters as well you can use these fragments to level up the character and progress the character that way”.

Like any good MOBA it’s also going to feature an expanding roster of Disney and Pixar characters, as well as playable events to unlock more skins for characters already in the game.
