The upcoming mobile game Sin Chronicle has announced its release date, after the game was delayed last year.
According to the official SEGA Twitter, Sin Chronicle will release on March 23rd in Japan, letting players try out the tactical RPG for themselves.
The game is also available to pre-register in Japan, allowing you to keep up to date when it actually launches.
Sin Chronicle is the mobile successor to the Chain Chronicle series, featuring an enhanced focus on decision making and branching paths.
These are more than just dialogue options, though- entire characters can be locked out, assuming you didn’t make the right choices.
SEGA has stressed that the finality of these choices are a huge part of the Sin Chronicle experience- your decisions are stored server side, so don’t expect rolling back any choices to be particularly easy if you decide that maybe you wanted to go with other characters, after all.
That being said, you won’t be locked out of characters forever- like other mobile games, Sin Chronicle still maintains a gacha system, where you’ll be able to pull for characters to recruit to your party.
The game had previously released a closed Beta, which we also managed to try out despite the game’s lack of an announced English release.
