Rumors of new Silent Hill projects have been appearing over the last few years. The latest rumors have been of developer Bloober Team (The Medium) working on a Silent Hill 2 Remake and of an original playable demo called Silent Hill Sakura. Both are allegedly released for the PS5. Konami has neither confirmed nor denied these rumors.
It should be noted that Masahiro Ito, the monster designer for the first three Silent Hill games and creator of Pyramid Head has retweeted the announcement on Twitter despite no longer working at Konami.
Aside from Silent Hill, there have also been rumors circulating that their Castlevania and Metal Gear solid revivals are allegedly being worked on. Once again though, Konami has not denied or confirmed these.
The company did recently announce an HR remaster of Suikoden I & II at the Tokyo Game Show, showing that they are bringing back their older series in some form.
