Sign up for Phantasy Star Online 2 Closed Beta Test (CBT) on Xbox One!

Phantasy Star Online 2 (PSO2), dubbed one of Japan’s biggest online RPGs, will be coming soon to North America on Xbox One, beginning with its Closed Beta Test (CBT). Players in the United States and Canada can sign up for the CBT through the Xbox One Insider Program to get a spot and special rewards!

As a member of ARKS in PSO2, you are part of a task force dedicated to exploring numerous planets and protecting the universe from a malignant force known as the Falspawn. Embark on an assortment of missions with fellow operatives in an unparalleled action RPG combat experience, completely free to play.

Play the ultimate online Free-to-Play experience with up to four other players in a party, or explore exclusive multiparty areas with up to twelve players simultaneously. The Phantasy Star Online 2 CBT is only open to the United States and Canada. Registering for early sign-up is possible on Windows 10, but the CBT is exclusive to Xbox One. Just follow the steps to sign up!

First, install Xbox Insider Hub on your Xbox One or Windows 10 device.

1. Navigate to the Store tab on your Xbox One console, or the Microsoft Store app on your Windows 10 device.
2. Select Search and look for “Xbox Insider Hub.”
3. Select the Xbox Insider Hub and choose “get” or “install.”

Once the app is installed, make sure to register for early sign-up for the game!

1. Launch the Xbox Insider Hub on your Xbox One or Windows 10 device.
2. If this is your first time launching the app, accept the Xbox Insider Program Terms of Use.
3. From the main dashboard, select Insider Content.
4. Under “Games,” select “Phantasy Star Online 2.”
5. Select “Join” to register for early sign-up.

Once the CBT begins, you’ll be notified via Xbox Live message. In the lead up to the start of the CBT, follow the Xbox Insider Twitter for details and updates.
