Should you pull Butler Veldora in Slime ISEKAI Memories?

Butler Veldora is ready to serve in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime ISEKAI Memories, but is he worth your Magicrystals?

[The True Butler] Veldora Tempest is a wind-element physical attacker who boasts a single-target Secret Skill. In terms of stats, he has a high ATK baseline, as with many other 5★ wind-element characters. As for his skills, he comes with an ever-useful Soul Change (2x Secrets to Skills) and debuff that lowers enemies’ pierce power for 2 turns that also permanently increases Soul of Skills damage by 5%.

If it isn’t already clear to you, Butler Veldora is a pretty terrible 5★ character. Anything that he can provide to your team, several other characters already do the job better. Soul Change? 5★ Ranga and 5★ Souei have the exact same skill and come with a better 2nd skill. Reducing pierce power is so niche, it’s extremely hard to see him becoming relevant even in the future.

Unfortunately, Veldora should stick to being a True Dragon instead of being a True Butler. However, if you are a fan of him or butlers, by all means, feel free to pull him even if he isn’t meta.
