Pearl Abyss announced its action battle royale game, Shadow Arena, will enter Early Access on Steam on 21 May KST. Players can continue to try out the pre-release version of the game ahead of its official launch later this year.
Test your mettle in fierce battles with up to 40 heroes competing against each other to become the sole survivor. Players will be able to try out a new Hero as well as other content that implements user feedback from the previous Beta tests in the Shadow Arena early access.
Shadow Arena has been recognized for its unique action style and strategic gameplay from running its beta tests! The most recent, final Beta also saw greatly improved retention rates, with global users participating in the game more actively than before. Views on the livestreams on the official Twitch channel also doubled up compared to the previous test.
Shadow Arena will be available globally via Steam, and has support for 14 languages including English, Indonesian, Thai and Turkish.
