No More Room in Hell 2, the 8-player co-op horror title that has been teased for a while now, has finally a release date.
During Summer Game Fest 2024, the horror first-person shooter No More Room in Hell 2 by Chivalry 2 developer Torn Banner, is set to launch in Early Access on Steam in October 2024, during the Halloween period.
The Steam page description reads, “No More Room in Hell 2 is an intense & terrifying permadeath co-op journey into the eerie darkness of zombie-infested zones.”
“As an emergency responder, you must survive, scavenge, stockpile, and fulfill your mission – then repeat, each time in an ever-changing experience.”
As mentioned, this is an 8-player co-op zombie experience where players explore one huge map sprawling with zombies, and players must communicate and strategize in multiple ways to tackle scenarios and survive.
The first Early Access area will be the Power Plant – each map is massive, and you would have to find your way to your teammates via proximity voice chat. Be wary of noise as the undead reacts to every move and noise you make.
“One zombie is a threat. A crowd of zombies will tear you apart. The undead not only see you, they can hear you, each other, and every deafening sound you trigger in the hushed wilderness.”
The game puts emphasis on the permadeath system, noting that death will create “huge consequences” – every mission levels up your responder, improving your chances for survival but death resets it.
