Get ready for absolute chaos with Cuffbust, a multiplayer prison break game that might just be the next Lethal Company, or Content Warning with how absurdly silly it looks with friends.
Revealed at Summer Game Fest 2024, Cuffbust is the next game from a singular developer at Two Star Games, who also created Choo-Choo Charles, which was an internet sensation.
This jailbreak-style game will be a multiplayer title where up to 20 friends band together as adorable yet off-putting mouse creatures attempting to escape a massive prison using various tools
There are a multitude of escape routes and you would have to execute your perfect breakout plan via proximity chat, but we all know that in voice chat – there will be no organization, only chaotic screeches and shouts.
Certain parts of the environment look to be destructible, as you could dig through walls, break out through vents, or blow up toilet bowls to disgusting greenish goo and gain access to disgusting sewers.
This is a prison break, so also expect AI-controlled police officers patrolling around to stop you.
Trust no one though, as you could escape with your trusted friends together… or wreak havoc by backstabbing each other, throw each other under the bus, and escape on their own.
As of writing, there is no concrete release date yet but it is set to launch sometime in 2025.
