Netmarble’s latest mobile game, Seven Deadly Sins: The Battle of Light and Dark, is officially out now in Japan and South Korea. The game is based on the manga “Nanatsu no Taizai (The Seven Deadly Sins)”, which is a popular series that has gained an anime adaptation.
First announced last month, Seven Deadly Sins: The Battle of Light and Dark is a turn-based RPG that has some card elements to it. In battle, you pick from a set of cards to perform attacks and skills. Also, you can fuse identical cards together by moving them around to form more powerful skills or attacks. Some of the attacks will be animated too, which really adds flavor to the combat system.
This game follows the manga story from the start, something that fans of the series would appreciate. Of course, since the game is currently in Japanese only, you’ll have to understand the language to enjoy the story.
Aside from the story, much of the game’s appeal would be the characters being able to change outfits. There are also some characters that start out at a lower rarity level but can be upgraded.
Netmarble hasn’t announced global availability yet but we’ll keep you posted when we get official news. For now, you can download the game below if you have access to Japan’s or South Korea’s Google Play Store or iOS App Store. You can also follow the game’s official site and Twitter page for news.
