Serencia Saga: Dragon Nest Revealed For Japan!

Serencia Saga: Dragon Nest is yet another ARPG that is based on the popular Korean studio, Eyedentity Games’ Dragon Nest. This time taking it to the mobile platform a new title for the Japan market. Japan’s Gumi has recently revealed the title in Japan and has now launched their pre-registration event on the official site.

There are four playable characters to start with namely Warrior, Archer, Cleric and Sorceress. The game features a new storyline where players venture into the world of Serencia as a “Knight of the Sealed Dragon” and taking on the trials set by the goddess. Interestingly, the game can be played in either landscape mode or portrait mode based on player’s preference.

Just like the PC version, Serencia Saga: Dragon Nest focused mostly on dungeon instances. However there are different strategies implied now as bosses have weakpoints on different parts of their body and it is best to take them out first. There is co-op play with up to 4 players in a part to take on raid bosses as well. The game wouldn’t be the same without its attractive costumes for weapons, armor which are craftable to customize how your characters look.

Since the game is taken up by Gumi Japan, the voice overs are cast by popular voice actors for the 4 characters in the game; Yūki Kaji (Eren in Attack on Titan) voicing the Warrior, Kana Asumi (Popura in Working!!) voicing the Archer, Daisuke Namikawa (Jellal in Fairy Tail) voicing the Cleric, and Ami Koshimizu (Ryuko in Kill la Kill) voicing the Sorceress. Even the theme song for the game is Japanized and will be sung by J-pop star Koda Kumi!
