SEGA introduced a new “J-League” mode to their SEGA Pocket Club Manager powered by Football Manager. The implementation of the new mode offers a new challenge to both new and veteran players.
SEGA Pocket Club Manager launched two months ago on both the Android and iOS. Similar to Football Manager games, the mobile game focuses on players taking their clubs to the top of the football world. It combines casual football RPG with management aspects. The game is filled with cartoonish 3D graphics and humorous dialogue which provides players with a fun atmosphere.
In the J-League mode, players start at J3, the third tier of the J-League. Players will then play their way up to J1 where they stand a chance to become champions of the league. Furthermore, players will encounter new talents and other management challenges on top of the default challenges.
In order to ensure the J-League remains fun and challenging for players, developers designed it differently from the campaign. Players can either scout for new players or loan them from teams from the main campaign. Unfortunately, the latter comes at a price where the higher the player’s level, the higher the cost.
To celebrate the launch of the J-League mode, the game is giving out in-game rewards for all players:
- 50 J-League Scouting Tickets
- 500GB
- 200 Arena Rings
- 1 Energy Drink (L)
