Sea Of Conquest, A Pirate Strategy Game, Available Now In Soft Launch

FunPlus has announced that Sea of Conquest is now available in soft launch for select territories on Android devices.

The publisher hasn’t confirmed which countries specifically would be included in the Soft Launch for Sea of Conquest, though on a cursory check Malaysia is one of the selected countries.

That being said, they’ve confirmed that the game will be launching globally this fall, although they haven’t locked down a specific date just yet.

“We are thrilled to unveil ‘Sea of Conquest’, offering gamers a seamless and immersive pirate experience,” said Chris Petrovic, Chief Business Officer at FunPlus.

“As we embark on this exciting journey, we recognize that the game’s expansive world opens the door to a multitude of interpretations and adaptations. Our vision extends beyond the horizon as we strive to transform Sea of Conquest into a versatile IP seasoned with AAA features and poised to capture the hearts of players across diverse platforms and channels”

The game features a variety of things to do, such as building the cabins of your ship a la Fallout Shelter as well as collecting Legendary Pirates to clear missions more easily.

They’ve also described a Wanted level system, though it’s unclear if it operates as a bounty or moderation tool.

“But beware, in this lawless realm, a Pirates Wanted system is in place. Players can report miscreant pirates for their unruly conduct or abuses, having a say in establishing order within the treacherous waters of the Devil’s Sea”, the game says.
