SEA Major 2024 Returns as Arc World Tour Event

After a hiatus, the Southeast Asian fighting game community is buzzing with excitement as SEA Major makes its long-awaited comeback. SEA Major 2024 will take place on November 23 to 24, 2024, at the Razer SEA HQ in Singapore, marking a significant milestone in the region’s competitive gaming calendar.

The tournament will feature two prominent titles from Arc System Works: Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising and Guilty Gear -Strive-. The event’s return after a long absence due to the pandemic and other undisclosed reasons is a welcome development for fighting game enthusiasts across Southeast Asia and beyond. Eliphant, a Game Marketing & Esports Specialist, will organize SEA Major 2024, with Razer Gold sponsoring the event, to deliver a world-class competitive experience.

The AWT 2024 represents the fourth season of the global tournament series for Arc System Works titles. In addition, this season introduces a revamped format, expanding the qualifier structure to include three tiers of tournaments for Guilty Gear -STRIVE- and Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising. The new system features Platinum tournaments offering the highest point values and direct qualification to the finals, while Gold tournaments like SEA Major 2024 form the backbone of the circuit’s major events.
