SD Shin Kamen Rider Rumble Launches on Nintendo Switch and Steam This April

Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia has just announced that SD Shin Kamen Rider Rumble will be launching on Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam on 27th April 2023.

SD Shin Kamen Rider Rumble is a beat ’em up/ hack and slash genre based on the Shin Kamen Rider movie. The game features fights between Kamen Rider and SHOCKER in a SD visual style, packing in various power up systems.

One of the highlights to the game is the challenging boss battles against the advanced members of SHOCKER. While players might face defeat in battle, the items collect can strengthen them and the Cyclone. Powering the Cyclone will allow players to skip through the stages that have been cleared and even get reinforced items to advance in battle.

Shin Kamen Rider is releasing in Japan in March 2023 as part of the 50th Anniversary of Kamen Rider. Written and directed by Hideaki Anno, the movie is a new original work that respects the Kamen Rider series.

The movie features Takeshi Hongo as the main Kamen Rider who is played by Sosuke Ikematsu, a well known actor in Japanese cinema. The heroine, Ruriko Midorikawa, is played by Minami Hamabe while Hayato Ichimonji / Kamen Rider No.2 will be played by Tasuku Emoto.
