SAO Alicization Lycoris post launch updates!

It was revealed on the Bandai Namco Entertainment Fun Live broadcast that Mr. Futami revealed that SAO Alicization Lycoris will have big content updates through a monthly basis.

Mr. Futami also mention about adding a new content called “Raid Battle” in the future patches. The “Raid Battle” offers a harder difficulty with more powerful opponents in exchange for amazing rewards. This “Raid Battle” can be played with either AI or CO-OP.

Not only that, Mr. Futami has also mentioned a massive update of a series called “Ancient Apostle”. In the “Ancient Apostle” update, Mr. Futami mentioned that the development team will be preparing content with strong enemies through a monthly basis as well. The “Ancient Apostle”  update will feature a specific theme and that the first theme will be the Sinon Arc.

Upon completion of this arc, players will know more about the story between Sinon and Kirito. It was also mentioned that these stories will have voiceovers too.
