Notably, the SAND LAND game is one of the final works the late Akira Toriyama has any involvement in, so hopefully the game comes out perfect to honor the legacy of such a legendary artist.
The manga series that the game is based on, SAND LAND, is written and illustrated by the late Akira Toriyama, who is also known as the creator of Dragon Ball. SAND LAND was serialized by Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from May 2000 to August 2000.
In 2023, the action RPG SAND LAND was revealed during Summer Game Fest 2023, unveiling that ILCA Inc, the studio behind Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Peal, will be behind its development.
