Extra goods when traversing through the SAND LAND will always be welcomed as we got our hands on the Collector’s Edition for SAND LAND, thanks to Bandai Namco Asia.
As one of the final projects of the legendary Akira Toriyama, SAND LAND is shaping up to be a worthy tribute to the late artist, and the Collector’s Edition of the game is looking like a dewdrop in a desert.
Without further ado, let’s unveil the SAND LAND Collector’s Edition and see what awaits us in this dry world.
An Oasis Hidden in a Box
Starting with the package itself, and here already there are quite a few things to see, with an angry set of eyes staring into your soul being on the front of the box.
The entire box is designed with the SAND LAND aesthetic in mind, with decals inspired by the series at the back of the box. And of course, the list of goodies included on the sides.
The “Bad” Star of the Show
Now for the main highlight of the collection, the 20cm figurine of the demon prince Beelzebub standing on its glorious rock formation base, who says demons can’t be the star of the show?
With the demon prince crossing his arms and ready for anything that comes, the figurine itself captures the likeness of Beelzebub quite well, from his expressions to even the slight color differences on the top of his head.
As an exclusive figurine by SH Figuarts, the Beelzebub figurine also comes with multiple customizable parts such as its arms, cape, and even additional headpieces with different expressions, allowing you to freely recreate your favorite scenes in the manga.
Entering the SAND LAND
Aside from the glorious figurine, the Collector’s Edition must come with the most important item – the game itself. For the collection, not only do you have the disk itself to download the game, but the left side of the case also has a voucher code containing all your juicy pre-order bonuses.
Not only that, the package also comes with a beautiful SteelBook case for you to store the SAND LAND in, featuring the iconic cast of SAND LAND riding the Royal Army’s tank as its front cover. Meanwhile, the back features various decals and exclusive artwork, giving inspiration to how one can design their tanks in-game.
Postcards With A Bounty
Following from illustrations on the SteelBook, now we have illustrations on a postcard, now don’t these people seem familiar?
The postcard features exclusive robot portraits designed by Pike for two of the main characters, Beelzebub and Sheriff Rao. The Royal Guards in SAND LAND have had bounty pictures of the two, but I wonder if this is what they reference when looking for them?
And that’s everything that is included in the SAND LAND Collector’s Edition. Even with just a few items, the Collector’s Edition does prove its worth. Each item is made with great attention to detail that is sure to make any fans of SAND LAND happy, truly carrying the spirit of the late Akira Toriyama.
