SEGA has unveiled some new details for its upcoming rhythm game for Nintendo Switch, Samba De Amigo: Party Central, including a new game mode.
StreamiGo! Mode
One of the biggest piece of information that SEGA has dropped today regarding Samba De Amigo: Party Central is the introduction of a new game mode called StreamiGo!.
This is a single player mode that puts you in the shoes of an influencer and you are required to gain as many followers as you can.
In StreamiGo! You will choose from a handful of different influencers, who each have a special mission of their own to give you, with each mission granting a different number of followers upon completion.
As you dance to complete your missions, comments from the audience will be displayed at the bottom left of the screen.
Some of them will cheer and some will even give you donations, so its important to perform at your very best in order to draw in a crowd.
As the number of your followers increases, so does your status as an influencer in the city.
Customization Shop
Some new information regarding the in-game customization shop was also revealed.
Here you will be able to purchase different outfits and accessories such as switching your maracas for glowsticks or bananas to customize your character’s appearance.
Special outfits such as Sonic and Puyo Puyo are also available through DLC purchases.
Characters
SEGA also revealed the official designs for two new characters named Rudolph and Rabbina.
Stages
Two stages that will be included in the game for you to dance in are Streets and Livestream.
Streets is in an area located on the outskirts of the city where the crowd that normally gathers there are a rough and rowdy bunch but they are all music lovers who can set aside their differences whenever the tunes start playing.
Livestream is located in the depths of a facility dedicated to streaming, where celebrities and influencers gather.
Samba de Amigo: Party Central is set to launch on August 30th, 2023, for the Nintendo Switch.
