Additional details have been disclosed by Sega on the limited offline version for Sakura Kakumei: Hanasaku Otome-tachi, its ill-fated RPG for the Android and iOS platforms. To recap, after a mere four months or so of service, Sakura Kakumei: Hanasaku Otome-tachi will shut down its servers on 30 June 2021. The notice can be found via its official website here.
The move serves as an olive branch to fans who did support the game throughout its short lifespan, and provides a number of features. Among other things, users may continue to interact with the cast of characters. Access to gallery remains and users can replay story events at their own convenience. To prepare access to this offline version of the game, users must first download around 5.2GB of data, and this can be done between 16 June 2021 and 30 June 2021. When the servers go offline on 30 June 2021, this iteration of the game will become accessible.
Sakura Kakumei: Hanasaku Otome-tachi is, or at least was, a turn-based RPG where players will play as the commander and lead the girls to win in battles. The girls fight wearing armour dubbed the “Spiricle Dress” , instead of the Spiricle Striker Mugen like the past Sakura Wars games used to have.
