Saints Row Reboot Game Announced at Gamescom 2021

A new entry Saints Row Reboot, simply titled ‘SAINTS ROW‘ has been announced at Gamescom. The game will act as a fresh new take on the series.

Described as a ‘self-made’ Saints Row game, it takes place in the vibrant fictional city of Santo Ileso in the heart of the American SouthWest. It stars a group of young friends embarking on their own criminal venture, as they rise to the top in their bid to become Self Made. The entrepreneur millennials of the criminal world if you would.

These characters include ‘The Boss’ the playable character whose fully customizable. They team up with mastermind Eli, getaway driver Neenah, and DJ Kevin

The game seems to further embrace the use of the series wackier and over-the-top aesthetic with a more cartoon-like art style with semi-realistic characters with more exaggerated features.

We don’t know a lot about the game so far but gameplay-wise it promises Saints Row’s usual open-world style. Volition promises a unique sprawling world for a wild, larger-than-life sandbox of thrilling side hustles, criminal ventures, and blockbuster missions, as you shoot, drive, and wingsuit your way to the top.

The Saints Row Reboot will be released in early 2022. It will be available for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC.
