Square Enix has announced the release of a playable demo for their upcoming RPG, SaGa Emerald Beyond on Steam.
Starting today, a demo for SaGa Emerald Beyond will be available on PC via Steam, with a platform-exclusive storyline.
In the Steam demo, players will be able to explore several hours of the character storyline of Diva No.5, a songstress mech whose memory and singing functionality are sealed away after singing a forbidden song.
In her despair, Diva discards her ‘human’ body and accepts an invitation from a secret society, leaving Avalon behind.
Players who play the demo will get a head start on the game as the demo save data can be transferred over to the full game when it releases.
SaGa Emerald Beyond
SaGa Emerald Beyond is the latest game in the 35-year history of the SaGa Project from Square Enix.
The story for SaGa Emerald Beyond branches and unfolds based on the player’s choices and actions. As players visit more of the game’s worlds, they will be given more options to choose from.
Furthermore, the game has multiple endings and scenes to discover, allowing players to experience a unique tale in each playthrough.
SaGa Emerald Beyond is slated to launch digitally on April 25th, 2024 for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and iOS and Android devices, with the Steam version being released on 26th April, 2024.
Pre-orders for the game is now open for PC, with further pre-order news on for consoles set to be released at a later date.
