Sacred Blade to shut down in October 2022

Alas, Gravity Game Arise has just announced that it will be shutting down, Sacred Blade, its RPG for the Android and iOS platforms this coming 27 October 2022. It felt like only yesterday when we announced that the game would go live two years ago, and now it has to join the many titles in the mobage afterlife.

As previously reported, the story of Sacred Blade tells the tale of protagonist Ares who lives peacefully in a small village, but he gets referred to as a “Saviour” to break a “curse” the God has set on this world. With the sacred blade, he will be standing against the God themselves.

With regards to combat, it is a match-three puzzle game where you have to set up combos to deal damage. Pull off enough of these and you will be able to unleash special attacks. If you need help, there is a co-op function where you will be able to invite friends to help battle against powerful bosses. At least that will remain the case until this coming October.
