Tamashii Nations, who produce all forms of action figures in Japan have announced the S.H MonsterArts Zinogre , a poseable action figure based on the popular Monster Hunter character.
The figure sits at an impressive 28cm length, making it almost a foot long so you’ll need to clear out some space to display it. It doesn’t come with an action stand, though it does come with a plastic base to make it look like it was roaming a familiar locale from the Monster Hunter series. It’s currently slated for a July 2021 release, although some stores have it scheduled for later.
Similar to their previously released Nargacuga and Rathalos, this figure features an impressively detailed sculpt, and will allow you to recreate various iconic poses from the game with it.
Like any good collectible figure, the S.H Monsterarts Zinogre comes with optional parts, letting you swap out the talons on its front and back legs with different options.
One interesting thing they’ve done with the figure is to use semi-translucent plastic for the fur. In theory this should make it look a lot better in photographs, even emulating real fur under certain conditions instead of having that weird plastic feel.
The figure isn’t available for pre-order officially yet, though sites like Big Bad Toy Store have opened up their own pre-orders, putting the figure’s price at USD 127.99.
Zinogre is one of the fan-favorite monsters, having been one of the most anticipated returning monsters in Monster Hunter World: Iceborne.
