nWay announced a new skin for Ryu in Power Rangers Battle For The Grid, following the character’s recent announcement.
The skin is called Angel Grove Class of ’93, and features Ryu outside of his Crimson Ranger outfit, but not quite yet in his iconic Gi. Instead he sports a leather jacket, with a red shirt wrapped around his waist.
Both Ryu and Chun-Li were recently announced as DLC characters for Power Rangers Battle for The Grid, complete with Ranger-style redesigns and movesets more reminiscent of their time in Marvel Vs Capcom 3.
So far nWay has only shown information for Ryu so far, with no gameplay trailer for Chun-Li yet.
Rather than being part of a full season of DLC, fans can purchase the Street Fighter Pack to get both Ryu and Chun-Li from May 25th. The Street Fighter Pack can be bought for 12.50 USD to get both characters, but both Chun Li and Ryu can be bought individually for 5.99 USD.
Power Rangers Battle For The Grid has had a healthy DLC roster, with multiple seasons of DLC adding characters from across the Power Rangers mythos. The game’s enjoyed some popularity even if it’s not a mainstream success, with many considering it a successor to games like Marvel Vs Capcom thanks to its fast paced tag-based combat.
