As advised time and time again, when playing Pokemon GO outdoors, be sure to keep it within the confines of the law. A certain Ruslan Sokolovsky from Russia played the game at the Church of All Saints in Yekaterinburg in 2016. As if that wasn’t bad enough, Sokolovsky went ahead and made a video there and then questioning the laws of making fun of the church while joking that he could not catch Jesus.

In no time at all, Sokolovsky was promptly arrested, and with the video being considered to be”inciting religious hatred”, he could be facing a potential of 3.5 years jail time. Sokolovsky is of course protesting the fact that his potential punishment far outweighed the crime, and we are inclined to agree.
