The mobile version of MMORPG title RuneScape finally has an official release in sight. Pre-registration for RuneScape Mobile is open.
UPDATE: The game has released for mobile devices, read about it here
Note that RuneScape Mobile is based on RuneScape on PC and not Old School RuneScape. Old School RuneScape already has a mobile version which released in October 2018 for iOS and Android.
While the game’s developer and publisher, Jagex, has not made an announcement of its official release date, RuneScape Mobile will launch on 17th June this year, according to its App Store page.
RuneScape Mobile has been in its beta test phase for ages. Despite its initial announcement in 2017, the beta only arrived in 2019, but it was not available to the public.
Note that if you still have the RuneScape Beta app on your device, the pre-register button on the Google Play Store page for RuneScape Mobile will not appear. However, rest assured that beta testers will still get the pre-registration rewards once the game officially releases. Also, opting out of the beta testing program will result in players not being able to play the game on mobile until its full release.
Players keen on earning rewards once the game launches should pre-register the game on the Apple App store and Google Play Store. Stay updated by following Runescape on Twitter.
