Rules of Survival has gained popularity on a global scale which led it to be one of the top ranked games on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Since its launch last month, the game has debuted and recognised in more than 22 countries including America, France and Germany.
With such a well received response, NetEase has taken steps to put Rules of Survival on its first ever E-Sports tourney dubbed RoS World Championship on the 20th of December. The tournament is dedicated to gather the top survivors of the game onto a world-class arena to compete for the only survivor’s title.
To cater to the large communities from different parts of the world, the tournament will be divided into three servers based on regions; Europe, Asia and America. For each server, there will be a total prize pool of $60,000 USD, with the champion being rewarded $30,000 USD. Teams that register for the tourney will also get a variety of unique rewards such as an exclusive garment that will only be available in RoS World Championship.
Following RoS’s first World Championship, a special uniform will also be customized for the top country based on the point ranking system. Every team that has won in each server will be invited to China to compete in the offline grand final to compete and share the prize pool of $476,000 USD; with the champion prize at $150,000 USD.
However not merely anyone can be part of the RoS World Championship. Only players who are Silver III and above with a team of four are eligible to participate in the World Championship. The registration period has already started on the 20th of December and will end on the 27th of December. For those who are interested may register now by following the link in-game or on their official site.
