The Royal Mail has announced a lineup of Warhammer stamps, in celebration of four decades of the popular tabletop IP.
According to the BBC, ten designs of these stamps are being produced- commemorating the different series under the Warhammer IP.
The stamps are available for pre order now on the Royal Mail website, ranging from Collector Sheets featuring all the stamps to even packages that include Silver Plate Medals for proper collectors.
The designs are split up into two types, with six designs focused on the art of Warhammer, baring art like the iconic Rogue Trader illustration featuring the Ultramarines as well as the Emperor of Mankind himself.
Another set instead focuses on the miniatures themselves, with sets like the Stormcast Eternals from Age of Sigmar as well as the Orks from Warhammer 40K.
Helen Smallridge, Games Workshop’s global head of marketing even reflected on Warhammer’s long presence in British culture.
“We’re delighted to be partnering with Royal Mail to mark the 40th anniversary”, she said. “From humble beginnings, Warhammer has grown into a British institution and a global success, with our fantasy miniatures collected by millions around the world.”
Warhammer has grown immensely in the 40 years since its inception- the IP itself is split across boardgames, videogames and even streaming series, all built around the settings of The Old World, Age of Sigmar and Warhammer 40K.
The company even has Warhammer World, a massive facility in Nottingham celebrating the brand.
