As we all know by now, Royal Blood is the upcoming game by Gamevil. The MMORPG has gained favour among mobile gamers with all that it has to offer during many conventions and showcases of what the game is capable off. During the recent Gamescom, the company has revealed their new CBT trailer along with an announcement of their CBT launch date which is from 25th September to 29th September. Players are able to pre-register now on their official webpage to be part of their CBT (you’ll need a Korea mobile phone number to do so).
Just like any MMORPG, players will be able to create their own unique characters set in a fantasy medieval age. With the game story centering on your character that has lost everything in the continent of Artania, you take on an adventure to create your own destiny. The game offers a massive open world with event features and capable of handling 100 vs 100 PvE battles. Powered by Unity 5, the game is able to rival what PCs can offer players of an MMORPG experience on a mobile device.
The game does not just offer its graphics but it also its contents. As mentioned previously, the game has event features that include main scenarios, quests, raids that are designed for up to 10 players, solo dungeons with 5 phases and an infinite tower challenge for various rewards. It is highly popular is the Korean MMORPG scene for massive 100 versus 100 guild battles and we will be seeing that in Royal Blood as well. However there are also other battle arenas like a 3 vs 3.
As like many other MMORPGs out there, the classes are pretty basic. However there is one class that is rare to see, which is the Bard class. The Bard is known as a support class but its main weapon is a musical instrument. Normally we’d see a support class coming from a mage or a priest, but this time we get a Bard. The Warrior is your generic melee and tank class, while Archers are slick and rogue combatants that use 2 different ranged weapons. And finally we have the Mage that casts AoE spells to deal devastating damage for the team. Each has its own unique combo with consecutive skill usage. This system makes it pretty similar to a hack-n-slash game in an MMORPG.
Nonetheless, the game will be released in Korea first. We are unsure if the game will be released globally, however hopefully we’ll be able to hear more from them soon after their short CBT.
