Romancing SaGa Re;univerSe goes global!

Romancing SaGa Re;univerSe Global will be coming! Following the Romancing SaGa 3 in English on a variety of platforms, we’ll be getting the mobile game too! Re;univerSe saw 15 million downloads some time ago, so perhaps this was one of the catalysts? See the teaser below!

From the SaGa franchise EN website, the game will be out in 2020, for both Android and iOS. The brief description is as follows:

Adventure through the world of Romancing SaGa in a standalone free-to-play mobile RPG! Featuring strategic combat, gorgeous pixel art, and a rich storyline, Romancing SaGa Re;univerSe makes its global debut in 2020! Stay tuned for more details, and enjoy the teaser trailer for now!

If you’re unsure of what the game is, here’s what you can expect. The game is a mobile RPG for Android and iOS. It has turn-based battles and explorations, where you control heroes from the Romancing SaGa series! Heroes are summonable with in-game currency. They can be equipped with weapons, armour and accessories. Hero units use skills from their game of origin, definitely appealing to fans!

Heroes gain experience, and can be trained in the Dojo to improve their Style. A hero with differing rarities can access the Style of the other rarity, which gives them a degree of flexibility. While they’re not training, send heroes out to expeditions. They can get items, as well as increasing their own stats.

So how about it? Excited for Romancing SaGa Re;univerSe‘s global release? With only a year given, it could be anytime within 2020, but hey, at least more SaGa games will be available in English!
