Romancing SaGa 3 was released back in 1995 for the SNES. It was later remastered and released for both iOS and Android, and the PlayStation Vita as well back in 2017, in Japan. It was then game producer and designer, Akitoshi Kawazu, mentioned that they are planning to release the English version after the Japan release.
After nearly 2 years, Romancing SaGa 3 will be launched on multiple platforms including the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC (Steam), PS Vita, iOS and Android somewhere in 2019, in Japan. Though it wasn’t mentioned if it has any English language support.
In addition to their announcement, a new game from the series since 23 years called Romancing SaGa Re: Universe, will be for iOS and Android. The game is set 300 years later after Romancing SaGa 3 which features characters from previous games in a whole new story. Thankfully, the game will be FREE-to-play once it’s released with some in-app purchases. Though there’s no release date yet, the game is slated to be released by the end of 2018.
