Asus ROG has taken their virtual CES presentation to the next level with ROG Citadel XV, the first-person virtual showcase of the gaming brand’s products.
The showcase isn’t available to play yet, though the Steam listing for it has appeared, where fans can also view the trailer for the virtual showcase.
The trailer does end with a reminder to catch the Asus ROG CES 2021 stream, on 13th January at 2am (GMT+8).
According to the description, this “game” will allow you to wander the halls of the ROG Base, where you can find out more about ROG’s products. It’s meant to coincide with ROG’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES) Exhibit, and is a great alternative to a crowded event hall.
Despite being a first-person event, the showcase is not listed as supporting VR headsets, so you’ll have to rely on normal mouse-and-keyboard controls to look around the base.
Of course, similar to a real booth at an event, there’s plenty of other things to do, as the trailer also shows off fun mini games, as well as ROG mascots to interact with. These mascots even have voiced lines, welcoming you to the ROG base.
ROG Citadel XV was developed by Moonshine Creation, along with Asus Global.
