THQ Nordic has just announced that the action RPG game Risen is finally out now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
This game is a rerelease of the first entry to the Risen series released back in 2009 on the Xbox 360 and PC.
The game is set on the mountainous island of Faranga with vicious creatures slowly taking control over the island, where you, a nameless hero, are given the choice to help Inquisitor Mendazo to investigate this phenomena.
Risen presents itself as an open world RPG with its story divided into 4 chapters. You are free to pick your side amongst the factions existing on the island and every single choice you make has its consequences, both good and bad.
From swords to bows and even staffs, there’s countless of ways for you to combat the enemies blocking your path. In addition, there are over 20 different spells for you to uncover that will surely prove useful to have in your arsenal.
