Nintendo had just announced a new entry into the Rhythm Heaven series, promptly titled Rhythm Heaven Groove. This new installment will be ready to launch on the Nintendo Switch in 2026.
Among the first known details is that all rhythm game veterans will have the chance to tap into a large musical library of music produced by the legendary Rhythm Heaven musical artist, Tsunku, also credited as Occhama.
The Rhythm Heaven series is known to have eccentric UI designs as well as unique, outlandish and quirky sets of characters that clash well together with the beats players will to tap along to. As each game contains its own set of rules and different mechanics, it will be very intriguing to see what this latest installment will aim to achieve at the point of its initial release.

The Rhythm Heaven collection began for the Nintendo DS, following its Japan-exclusive title on the Gameboy Advance titled Rhythm Tengoku and continued on the Wii and Nintendo 3DS.
There are no further details for the game other than the trailer released from Nintendo Direct 2025, but all fanatics can hold onto their fingers as they live to tap to the beat of new and funky music very soon. So don’t miss a beat!
